Incluye 6 poligonos en formato shape (multiescala) de las areas identificadas como sitios de improtancia RAMSAR en Colombia, correspondientes a Delta del Rio Baudo y San Juan, Sistema Lacustre de Chingaza, Laguna del Otun, Laguna de la Cocha y Sistema Delta Estuarino del Rio Magdalena, Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta.
Algunas de estas areas se encuentran actualmente en proceso de redelimitacion y ajuste.
